[00:00:00.0]
You can open up your pet slide show.
[00:00:03.0]
If you notice, we've an extra slide here.
[00:00:05.0]
Let's place an oval on our canvas.
[00:00:10.0]
If you hold down the Alt key and drag your mouse, you drag out a copy.
[00:00:15.0]
Alt, drag, release to create copies.
[00:00:20.0]
We've our rulers now, and we'll drag out a guide, and then you can hold down Shift and select all your ovals
[00:00:27.0]
And we're going to distribute the space horizontally. And that gave us a equal amount of space in between each oval.
[00:00:36.0]
Let's go ahead and place these ovals vertically, and we'll delete that last one.
[00:00:41.0]
And we could hold down the Shift key or we could select the shapes and use the arrow keys to move them.
[00:00:51.0]
We can hold down Shift and select the shapes and move them closer to each other. And then if you click
[00:00:58.0]
and pull down to the right, you can marquee and select the shapes.
[00:01:02.0]
Now let's vertically distribute the spacing, and there you go.
[00:01:07.0]
If we Alt + drag the whole selection, you get a bunch of copies.
[00:01:13.0]
Hold down Shift, drag again, and you get a bunch of copies.
[00:01:17.0]
You can marquee the whole group of them, and then try to distribute them, and what happens is that they scatter.
[00:01:25.0]
We can undo that.
[00:01:26.0]
Now let's try to vertically distribute them.
[00:01:31.0]
Let's undo that.
[00:01:33.0]
Now we could align them, align them to the top.
[00:01:36.0]
Now all those circles are underneath there.
[00:01:39.0]
Now when we distribute them, watch what happens.
[00:01:43.0]
All the circles that were underneath those three are distributed evenly.
[00:01:51.0]
So let's get rid of some of these.
[00:01:53.0]
We've a little excess on our hands, we can marquee what we don't want.
[00:01:57.0]
Tap delete, we can select all the shapes.
[00:02:01.0]
Now, let's shrink one oval down. And if we try to place this circle behind another circle, you see it'll go right behind it.
[00:02:10.0]
But how do we get it on top of the circle? That's when we have to 'bring to front'.
[00:02:15.0]
And that brings the selection to the front.
[00:02:19.0]
And now I could place it on top of the circle.
[00:02:22.0]
[00:02:24.0]
uld place it on top of the circle.
